President & CEO
Bill Wood has over 25 years’ experience in the nonprofit and public sector market. He started his career as a founding member of Blackbaud Inc. and held several senior management positions in sales, marketing and, ultimately, as chief executive in a number of companies. Bill was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of private equity backed FrontStream, a leading, SaaS provider in the nonprofit, payments, employee giving and corporate social responsibility sectors.
Chief Financial Officer
Xavier Shorter has served as Vice President, Finance and CFO at Sylogist since October 2016. Xavier is an experienced executive with 17+ years’ experience in accounting and finance and executive roles at public companies. Xavier, a CPA-CA (Canada) and CPA (USA), began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP, after receiving his B.S. in Computer Information Systems and M.S. in Accounting from Alabama State University.
Chief Technology & Innovation Officer
Terry LoPresti has a 25-year track record delivering highly scalable technical solutions via disciplined Agile processes to nonprofit, nongovernmental, government and education sectors, Serenic’s key markets. Along with her strong Microsoft platform knowledge, Terry’s expertise includes SaaS product innovation and deployment, system integration, self-serve and mobile first platforms, e-documents, payment processing, and user-oriented data visualization and reporting.
Executive Vice President
Dave Elder joined Sylogist as an officer in 2006 and was appointed to the company’s board of directors in 2008. He is currently Executive Vice President, responsible for all acquisition initiatives, as well as being Corporate Secretary to the Board. Dave was a corporate lawyer with a national firm until his retirement from active practice in 2013.

Tracy Harder is a human capital executive who excels at partnering with leadership teams to drive talent and engagement strategies and align those strategies with the overall business objectives. She has over 20 years of expertise managing the employee experience for companies with footprints in US, Canada and abroad and enjoys all things related to the talent acquisition strategy.

Donna Smiley is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Serenic Software. Donna has over 20 years' experience providing software solutions to nonprofit and non-governmental organizations and to the public sector. Donna had over 15 years of accounting and financial management experience earlier in her career.
