Serenic HCM Payroll Solution
Serenic HCM Payroll accommodates any payroll situation. Keep all information for more than one employer within the same company. Flexible reporting options allow access to information for each separate employer or all employers together. Earnings for an employee working for more than one employer can be treated separately or combined. If treated separately, then multiple W-2s or T-4s will be printed for the employee. Specific rates can be assigned at the employer level.
Flexible Calculations allow any business rule that can be mathematically or logically defined to be set up in a payroll calculation, including complicated combinations for shift differentials, piece rates, work type differentials, etc. Troubleshoot new calculations using a calculation “trace” functionality for following step-by-step methods.
Mass Updates make it easy to apply employee-specific pay or benefit rates by a percentage adjustment, an amount adjustment or a specific value. Specific groups of payroll controls to one or more employees can be attached in a single step.
Direct Deposits permit unlimited bank accounts (savings or checking) per employee with amounts determined by dollar or percentage of net pay. User-defined export reports can be produced to meet individual bank requirements.
New Employee Setup Wizard ensures quality with a step-by-step wizard that defines which fields are required and ensures that each record has all necessary information.
Employee Validate Function easily determines any missing details of the employee setup to ensure the system properly calculates employee taxes, benefits, garnishments, etc.
Time Journal lets you enter employees’ hourly time manually or import via Dynamics NAV XML port directly from a time clock or time entering system. The time journal interfaces directly with jobs, departments and resources.

Being able to drill down and find specific employee information directly from the analysis form saves time and increases productivity.
HCM Position Management feature tracks and defines position specific information. Pertinent information will automatically flow to the employee once the position is assigned to them (e.g., rates, department, and standard payroll controls such as earnings, hours, accruals, and benefits).
HCM Recruitment eases the selection process by rating all applicants based on qualifications with the interactive Applicant Qualification Overview feature. Applicant specific information relating to open job requisitions can be accessed, including expected salary, willingness to relocate, and availability.
HCM Communication Tracking effectively manages communications for employees, applicants and references. The feature eliminates hard copies and electronically manages all related communications and files in one place (e.g., offer letters, employee reviews, disciplinary actions, benefit changes, and emails).
HCM Pay Structures easily defines salary grids. By simplifying complex pay rates in a grid system, equitable treatment of all employees is ensured. Defined salary grids allow for mass updates when new or adjusted rates need to be applied, with effective dates and max/minimum rate ranges.
HCM File Attachment stores documents directly on records (e.g., performance reviews on an employee card). Companies can save all file types (e.g., Word documents, Excel, PDF), store files directly in a database not linked to another source, and attach external files to records using “drag-and-drop” functionality.
