RMS, using Sylobridge integration, communicates with SAP through the RFC layer of SAP. Sylobridge has been tightly coupled to SAP by incorporating SAP’s RFC libraries into the product. We have access to all remotely enabled RFC’s, BAPI’s, IDoc’s and TRFC’s in SAP giving us the ability to supply data to all modules within SAP.
The RMS system captures the pump interface data and creates a file record of all events in the system which contains line item transaction data including Litres pumped, Fuel type , Transaction dollars , Pump ID , Smart Card Information for billings , Fleet card Information for billings Etc. The system then moves the line item transaction data through encrypted message queues over web services to the Sylogist enterprise integration server. Sylobridge uses its mapping tool to map the RMSGPI RS and/or CR files to the appropriate function call within SAP to initiate the transaction.
RMS is capable of both pushing and pulling data from SAP so it is possible to have changes in SAP move through Sylogist enterprise server to the site for moving Price changes , Site configurations etc. The solution can be centralized or decentralized depending on the requirements of the customers architecture giving it the most flexibility of any system on the market.
