Sylogist Ltd was originally founded in 1994 as Fintech Services Ltd, a company located in Calgary, Alberta dedicated to implementing complex IT solutions, principally in the oil and gas industry. At that time, many organizations were concerned about their systems, particularly with the looming transition through the year 2000.
In early 2001, the company grew rapidly and began to extend their solution portfolio to those application areas that complemented the ERP solutions. The company purchased products and customers from Abaco in Atlanta, Georgia to provide mobile computing solutions for those organizations using ERP systems for inventory management. With the purchase also came technologies to improve how ERP systems integrated with other applications, in a very cost effective approach. This expansion in focus improved the company's core strengths as an SAP solution provider, by providing skills and products to optimize the overall offering.
Over the last few years, Sylogist has proven its capabilities in a number of industries. With its strengths in integration and mobile computing. The company has over 100 customers in North America and around the world, with over 65 dedicated and very experienced employees and a strong fiscal management.
Our recent acquisition of ‘Bellamy Software’ and ‘Collaborative Learning Network Inc. (CLN)’, makes Sylogist Ltd. the largest provider of municipal ERP Solutions in Canada with over 80 customers and 25 years of public sector experience. Our shared technology services offering is an example of our ability to deliver business systems and managed service solutions to various sizes of municipal organizations applying Best Practices.
Sylogist is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta with branch offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, Edmonton Alberta and Atlanta, Georgia. The company is publicly traded on the Canadian Venture Exchange, under the symbol SYZ.
